Midnight Panther seems to be one of those rare anime with artwork that are worth capturing into cels. I must admit I couldn’t resist taking at least seven screen shots. Many people know I don’t normally don’t do that kind of thing for Hentai Neko. I think there’s something about the way the subjects are rendered. They blend so beautifully with the background and the scenes. The animation is equally as good, with motions so fluid you can swear the creators were paying more attention to artistic detail rather than to just complicated sexual positioning.

Midnight Panther is a group of three nubile young girls who are more like cute j-pop idols by day, and murderous weapons-for-hire by night. The idea of irresistible female assassins fascinates me. They are like the female version of the hunky Weiss Kreuz underground gang, whose main appeal comes from the fact that they are beautiful, sexy and everything irresistible, yet armed with the deadliest talents imaginable. My personal favorite is the dark-skinned girl with the flaming red hair. She’s the one who slays dragons for a living.

The males don’t disappoint either. They have faces and bodies worth posting and glorifying over the internet. I’m pretty sure if Midnight Panther could make it into the mainstream, women will drool over their looks. Too bad the most gorgeous one is not too clear in the head. Nevertheless, I’ll take what I can get from my handsome eye candy.
