Beauty, brains, and brawn!
Revolving around the humanoid undercover agent Akiko, this beautifully drawn anime’s plot is very simple and yet easy to appreciate because of its directness. Akiko is the kind of female protagonist who appears to be meek and humble on the outside, but is actually hiding a lean mean fighting machine on the inside. She has been chosen to investigate a strange case and uses her own discretion in uncovering her nemesis’ tracks. She finds herself deeply involved in the situation, however, which almost leads her to her downfall.
The only thing I’m wondering about is why there has to be errors in the system before her Amazon streak could surface. I would certainly welcome a lot of action and ass kicking earlier in the investigation. Not to mention, it would have saved a lot of time. Then again, if the pacing had been even a little bit faster, there wouldn’t have been a need for orgy scenes, which of course would have been unfortunate for hentai fans looking for a different kind of action.
It’s also worthwhile to note that Akiko’s setting is within an exclusive girls’ school, so you can expect a lot of lesbian love. I also find the ending a bit sentimental, but it’s all for the better. It gives Akiko a sense of human realism.
