Can Can Bunny Minus Can Can Dancers and Rabbits
I keep confusing this anime with My Fair Masseuse because the main character of MFM wears a playboy bunny outfit and works at Bunny In Moonlight. Ironically Can Bunny has no trace of rabbits or even Can Can dancers, for that matter. It is more similar to Ah Megami-Sama (Oh My Goddess) sans Skuld. You have goddesses, with their little dwarfy assistants, weatching over a young college boy, guiding him in every decision-making moment—especially when it comes to getting laid.
Despite Kenta’s penchant for dabbling in the naughtiest of activities, there really is something turly romantic in store for him. I did mention the similarity to Ah Megami-Sama, didn’t I? Well, just like Keiichi, Kenta manages to ensnare his goddess’ heart. Too bad Keiichi didn’t learn a thing or two more from Kenta…if he did, he would’ve also gotten hold of Skuld and Urd. He he.
The animation and artwork are cute. Not AMG material but cute. I can’t find any other descriptions for it. The hentai scenes aren’t very graphic, but they’re enough for a beginner to start with. I’d recommend this for people who are still experimenting with h-titles.
CCB is full of laughs, especially on the extra episodes such as the Can Can Bunny Extra Lucky 7 and the Can Can Bunny Extra Summer Fun. It has very little drama, and none of the irritating, sickeningly sweet echanges that are characteristic of AMG’s Keiichi and Belldandy.
