One of the most disgusting tentacle flicks ever!
Fobia certainly doesn’t beat around the bush when it comes to tentacle rape scenes, because the very first frame shows two young women ravished by a multiple-limbed monster. That’s one heck of an introduction, even in hentai standards. Another thing about the tentacles is that they get a tad too bloody and sadistic than your usual perverted demon activity.
The hentai scenes are nothing new. What else do you expect from the usual tentacle flick? Of course you’d see supposedly stimulating genitalia being attacked by a mass of moving penis-shaped appendages. The artwork and animation could use some work. It’s a good thing the girls are cute, at least.
Moving on, the action sequences aren’t too bad. The little thing that irritated me, though, was that the fight scenes remind me too much of Dragon Ball where the guys keep on pausing, hesitating, and posing instead of concentrating on what’s important—which is, of course, the battle. The plot, on the other hand, is reminiscent of Chrono Cross (one of Squaresoft’s more popular video games), where there is an alteration of reality on some levels involving time warp. There are a few attempts at hilarity, so not everything seems too bland.
All in all, Fobia is a decent hentai title. Rent, but don’t spend too much for it.
