Untitled Review
I don’t really know if I like the plot or not, but I find Miko Mido’s heritage a bit fascinating. At first you think she’s just your regular run-of-the-mill ninja who has inherited incredible powers by virtue of some clannish contract. But as each episode progress, you learn that her existence is defined by something more important. Like beastly royalty perhaps? I think they could really do a lot for the story if they give a good angle to Miko’s sister and that unusual love she feels for this hermaphrodite ninja, whose name escapes me.
The artwork and animation are cute. Miko Mido isn’t exactly the prettiest thing in this series, but damn if she couldn’t possibly be the sexiest! Of course, there are other fine choices of nubile flesh, like the ninja Fubuki and the werewolf girl whose name escapes me. Heck, even Miko Mido’s undeniably sexy mother, Maria, is absolutely something to look forward to.
This series has probably gained nearly the same amount of popularity as the hentai classic Urotsukidoji has. Take note: every detail counts! It has the same trademark barage of tentacles, demon fornication, and a whole load of occult themes. I honestly have no idea how the creators thought we could keep up with too much tentacle stuff, though. It’s just painful-looking for a while, then later gets boring.
If you’re into these kinds of things though, I’d recommend seeing a more mature Miko Mido in Lady Blue.
