Yuu has a problem. In an ultimate taboo, he did ‘the nasty’ with Eri, his own sister. While this would be bad enough on it’s own, in true hentai fashion, it manages to get worse. Yuu is shocked to learn that not only did Eri enjoy it, but she enjoyed it more than him. And now she wants to do it again. And again. And again…

I’ve gotta say, I haven’t read too many incest themed mangas. Yuu manages to find himself in all kinds of socially unacceptable situations with his sister, the neighbor… even his own mother. Perverted as it is, Super Taboo still manages to pull off a nice (and at times, dare I say it, sweet) story, as Yuu struggles to contain his horny inner demons in some very funny scenes. The characters are developed very well, and have very unique personalities. By the end, you really care about them, and can almost forgive them for being such raging perverts. Almost.

The artwork is very nice, and the sex scenes are pretty good, too. While not as explicit as it could have been, very, very little is left to your imagination. Everything from three-ways to lesbianism is thrown at you, and it’s almost always done in a reasonably original way. You don’t feel like you’re looking at the same old rehashed scenes all the time.

While the idea of mother and son (and daughter and son… and daughter and mother… and…) going at it may seem a bit too much, Super Taboo has a great story behind it, and characters who make it worthwhile. It’s definitely worth a read.
