Feast your eyes upon that cover description...because that's all there is to the plot that you'll ever see.
Don't doubt it. I don't know what they're trying to pull here, giving you a 3-part OAV that has no ending and thinking they can get away with it. If you've seen Fire Emblem and stomped your feet in anger at an unfinished "series" well then I might as well warn you off this title. What irritates me more is that, like many of Dragoon 's fans, I have seen the potential of this anime through sheer character design alone. In fact, if I had the time, I would probably write a fanfic about Millie and Lain. Or perhaps I could match Lain with the red-haired trickster who loves shedding her clothes whenever somebody accuses her of cheating...
Like with the case of Legend of Crystania , people have compared Dragoon to Record of Lodoss War. Again I impart a little bit of advice. Don't. It's like comparing Final Fantasy to Tales of Destiny . The atmospheres are worlds apart, though they might be set in a similar time frame. The artwork is certainly not the same either. Lodoss is a legend, while Dragoon has its own charm. Had this charm been used properly (hint hint -- a follow up series please!) then it would have had a better impact.
Ah, before I forget... I wanted to ask the creators of this anime if this is hentai or not. There are too many minutes spent on breast exposure alone, particularly Miu's. It's disconcerting, to say the least. Here I am, a webmistress of a hentai site, trying to keep my mind on the "regular anime level" and then they do this dastardly thing. You just don't know what to think anymore!
