Kawaii!
Truth be told, I wasn't looking forward to seeing Homeroom Affairs, as the other hentai titles that ended with the word "Affairs"—namely, Office Affairs and that vomit inducing Co-Ed Affairs—all left quite an acrid taste in my mouth. When you read the cover summary for Homeroom Affairs, your mind begins to scream: "Stop it with the disgusting student-teacher stories already!"

Imagine my delight when I found out that Homeroom Affairs is nothing like the last two "Affair" titles that I've seen. First of all, there isn't any serious humping going on. While the tease Miyako is very creative in exposing her soft flesh, all the sex in this anime is implied rather than enacted. In short, this is the kind of hentai flick that I would recommend beginners. Second, Homeroom Affairs is somewhat of a comedy. Oh sure, you can say Co-Ed Affairs tried to be humorous, but please, that one is as hilarious as a group of maggots feasting on a dead horse. This one is just plain, simple fun that borders on the sweet and romantic. Third, the creators of all these three "Affairs" are not one and the same. I guess Skysenshi should've done a little more research to save herself the sinking feeling of dread prior to viewing, when experiencing the emotional struggle wasn't necessary at all.

There are quite a few similarities with this title and Very Private Lesson, in that there is a naughty student who finds herself protected by a straight-laced bespectacled professor—all thanks to somebody who truly loves her. The main source of conflict is also a misguided, horny goon who finds the light at the end of the day. However, the baddie here, Kou, isn't as bad as we'd first think. In fact, Kou shows a little sentimentality that made me wish all gangsters would be just like him. Ah, the romance of it! I guess it shows that despite being nothing exceptional, Homeroom Affairs had characters that would be easy to remember (I mean, who can forget that Miyako is a dead-ringer for Ranma's Nabiki Tendo and Kou is a more desirable version of Yu Yu Hakusho's Yuusuke!).

In truth there really isn't anything remarkable about Homeroom Affairs, especially if you compare them to other cute titles like New Angel and Ujin Brand. In fact it can be a forgettable title, seeing as most stores no longer have it in stock. But the kawaii factor makes it a refreshing experience, especially when you've spent your hentai Sundays watching nothing but disgusting tentacles, butt-ugly demonic monsters, and flying white gooey liquid.
