The time has finally come for Lunar 2: Eternal Blue (Complete) to be released. It has been a long wait, especially for fans of Lunar: The Silver Star Story (Complete).
As expected, Working Designs didn't make much of a change from their traditional pixie type characters.
The anime scenes, however, have been enhanced to mix perfectly well with awesome 3D computer graphics. The creators have done a little of this in the original Lunar, but here, they indulge players with ultra long anime-blended-with-CG sequences.
For those who have played Lunar 1, the battle system is extremely easy to get used to. This is because it is not different from the first Lunar's system. For beginners, they will find it also quite easy, although they will have to learn how to make short-ranged characters defend "properly".
The inventory system has improved, unlike in Lunar, where you have to distribute your inventory among all the characters. Here, you have plenty of space for numerous items. There is also a limit of 20 pieces per article stored in the inventory.
As for the plot, it's the same wonderful land of Althena worshippers. There's something that had changed, however, and Lunar fans would have to find out for themselves what is wrong with the current picture.
