I have never played God Eater but I find it somewhat intriguing because you get to take on hostile gods, called the Aragami. If I've read Amazon's product description correctly, you're supposed to defeat them then eat them. Yoikes. Thing is, I was looking through the trailers and I find myself feeling sorry for the gods. I kind of felt like they were being bullied. Reading the press kit information that was sent to me, however, it seems like this is a battle for humanity's survival. Ok, I guess that's a valid reason for wanting to annihilate the animal-like Aragami. (Though, I'm not too sure if those Aragami weren't fighting for their own survival, as well. I mean...wouldn't you want to kill off people if they're out to devour you?)

God Eater Burst boasts of Vajra, which the press kit describes as a "giant Aragami resembling a tiger. Moves so fast and can easily outmaneuver the enemy. Unleashes electric shocks from the cape-like organ on its back."

Is it just me, or is he really this huggably cute? I almost couldn't bear to see him get slaughtered by a bunch of fancy-shmancy human beings.

God Eater Burst will be released on March 2011 and is available for pre-order at the Otaku Fridge Store.
