Choose the wrong girl, why doncha!

Ending-wise, I wish I could sympathize with Tenchi when puzzle pieces started to fall into place but all I could think of saying is, "I told you so!" or "Serves you right!"

Never had I been so annoyed with the characters of Tenchi Muyo as much as I did here. Okay, so I laughed. Hard. Big deal! All Tenchi series are known for being humorous. What really had me wanting to tear off every characters head off here is the fact that all the women who are obsessed with Tenchi are completely useless. To add insult to injury, they even impose too much! Don't believe me? Well, watch how Sasami gets to be housemaid. She cleans the house, cook the food, heck even make money to support an entire household of destructive females and what does she get in return? She ends up fearing for her savings! Sasami is not the only one I pity here. It's Tenchi's dad. More so him! Well, I guess it's his own fault for allowing the ingrates to stay at his house and demanding more than he could give, which he pays severely for later on. Even my favorite Ryoko, whom I had loved in Tenchi OAV, is simply irritating here, although I did like her in one particular episode for which I think I'm gonna build a wallpaper.

I can't believe they even added a new character, the wimpy goody-two-shoes Sakuya, into the picture. It can't be helped, I guess, since Sakuya is the key to the plot's twist. Besides, as my brother (a Sakuya lover) says, Sakuya seems to be the only remotely decent person, with a solid conscience, in this anime.

As for me... I'm just whining because this is the only Tenchi set that I actually own, not rented. I wish I had bought the OAV for collection purposes instead.

Little Sidenote: Photon makes a little guest appearance near the end of this series (j/k)
