End of the Boards(?)
I have just received a notice from the Invision Power Team that they will be increasing the rates for the forum hosting. It’s almost double the original rate that I have been paying since 2001. As I haven’t been on the Otaku Fridge Boards for quite some time, I have already begun to think of letting it go.
If anyone else has a solution, please don’t hesitate to comment on this entry. We only have until May 25. I will be downloading the database, for posterity’s sake, but since we won’t be using Invision anymore, we’ll probably have a new forum or another venue for discussion.

Wow.I can't believe that this is actually happening.
The OB forum is going down.For good this time.
In case you all haven't notice or read it, sky just posted a notice about it so go read it.
Personally speaking......I have never imagined OB going down.I would've thought I've got married and lost interest in the net(ob,porn,etc.) before OB ever cease to function.Heh....pretty shocking i must say,to say the least.
Anyhoo....I am just gonna post what's on my mind in this message here.It'll be in point form of course since there's a lot of stuff going to my mind right now....
1-I am sad.Sad that OB's gone.Next to porn,hentai and fanfiction.....OB has been my net staple diet for many many years.I think,believe and feel that I have been a member in Ob for like a decade....at least.Since the time mirc chatting was popular and teh AXN forum was still a decent and respectable place to post stuff.For a significant part in my life....OB was dear and important to me,so I am sad to say the least. :(
2-Thank you,sky.Thank you for creating OB and maintaing the place for all these time.It wasn't easy and it costed money.A lot of money I'm sure so I thank you for the bottom of my heart for letting me be a part of this forum family here in cyberspace.I've made lots of friends here and have shared many ideas and heartfelt stuff here in OB through the best and worst of times.I'd like to thank everyone of my friends here....namely elfboy,skysenshi,thundersenshi,firesenshi,loosecanon,mookamori,kamisama,status,X
elloss,lune knight,lizard,rinoa,shunichi,katana no miko,niknok,markpoa and everyone whom I have ever interacted here(sorry...cant anme y'all....it'dtake too much time) for the wonderful if not memorable meories and friendship.I know I 'may' have pi$$ed off some peeps....argued...debated...watever....with my actions and piece of mind posts but hey,thats just me. :p

i can offer my host...they have a built-in forum software. however, the techie side, tweaking, etc. i don't know how. i can give you the password :) pm me na lang sa multiply since i'm always there. unless, my dsl conks up.

Oh gawd … this is so sad. ;_; Somehow I always thought that no matter how long I was away, OB would always be there to come back to.

Wow, I come back to see how one of the first sites I joined was doing, and it’s leaving… Depressing. OB will always be a good memory for me though.

WHAT?! OB going down? I’ve been gone for a long time but OB’s been one of my web-forum-addiction foundations. I’m sad to see OB go. Hopefully, everything turns out ok.

Ok. This is weird. I expected that they’d pull it out two months ago and it’s still up. @_@ They just charged my card 2 dollars more instead of what they originally indicated they’ll charge.
I really wanna whack them in the head for saying one thing then not pushing through with it. I don’t know if they have any idea of the emotional eklavoo I’ve gone through. Urgh!
